Rolla’s Special Books: (These are books chosen as WAW books for this year and then withdrawn because the author would not meet the rules for a WAW book. We own the books and will let children read them as if they were this year’s books.

Juvenile Non-fiction- Please remind students that when selecting non-fiction books’ AR reading levels should go down one level (Ex: If my reading level is 2.8, then I should look at 1.8 level books) This is so because non-fiction is often more difficult for students to grasp and retain.

Children’s Cookbook series: Kids Dish

These books all have 12-15 recipes with pictures and are labeled easy, intermediate, and advanced
